The Nintendo Wii, the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360 are the three next generation gaming consoles available in the market for you to choose from. A lot of articles have been written about the Wii and the Playstation, so it’s now time for the Xbox 360 review.

An In Depth Xbox 360 Review

Out of the box the Xbox 360 is a far cry from its antecedent. The original Xbox was big, black and awkward to look at. The recent unit is far smaller, though not as small as the Wii or Playstation and white in color. For the first part of the Xbox 360 review I give it a 7 out of 10 for appearance.

Appearance for some people is important but a hardcore gamer most likely finds it least important. So let’s dive down into the next part of the Xbox 360 review and look at the games that are available. This Xbox 360 review is not a game but rather a glimpse at the titles you can get. The primary thing that stands out for this Xbox 360 review is that the Xbox is the only system that you can get Halo for. While it has been ported to PC, the game play on the console is far superior. The Halo series is perhaps my favorite of all time and this is a big plus in favor of the Xbox. While the single player is enjoyable, this game actually shines with the multiplayer options, but I will get into that in the next section. For game titles I rate this Xbox 360 review a 9 out of 10.

The multiplayer options are the next significant things to consider. The former Xbox blew its competition out of the water while the Playstation and Wii are catching up but still Xbox 360 is heading the pack. The system offer multiplayer support so you can find games easily; get content and nearly all of the games released. The Xbox 360 review score for its multi player is 10 out of 10. Their continuous innovation is so amazing that is even hard to believe.

If you prefer online gaming, the best system for me is the Xbox 360. Almost all of the games are more adult in flavor and don’t have fun aspect of the Nintendo’s Wii, who captures the market in fun and interactive games. The Playstation 3 might certainly have a slight edge for non online adult games but the Xbox 360 can keep within almost every watch.

Having such an Xbox 360 review is essential and I hope that this Xbox 360 review can be of great help for you in making your decision.
